Glider for adventurous pilots

The Colorado 2 is a full-blooded reflex paramotoring glider for adventurous and demanding pilots. It will please anyone looking for an exciting wing for adventure flying. Roll stability is exceptional in straight flight, but at the same time the Colorado 2 is a very agile and fun glider. Easy take-offs and landings, high maximum speed and an equally high cruising speed with open trims are the attributes of the new Colorado 2.

Faster Performance Design

The shape of the airfoil provides most accessible high performance in all settings of trim positions. In practice, this means lower fuel consumption and a higher rate of climb. The advantage is longer endurance in the air and longer distances flown. In the design of the Colorado 2, top technologies from the higher range of our successful gliders are used. The Colorado’s trimmer range offers a wide range of speed settings, from slow to all out fast.

Exceptional agility

The Colorado is not just a 'speed machine'. With agile and intuitive handling, it is also incredibly delightful to fly. For those pilots who like to carve turns and play in the air it will definitely put a smile on your face! The Colorado is very maneuverable, with pleasantly moderate brake pressure. The Colorado 2 is equipped with 2D steering as standard. Wingtip steering toggles for faster trim settings (accelerated flight), are offering yet another reason why you will be more comfortable on longer flights.

Easy and user friendly

The weight of the canopy is low thanks to the use of lighter materials. The way of inflating the canopy is smooth with a steady rising. The canopy stays over pilots head, with no tendency to pitch forward or fall back. It is just as easy to "kite" the Colorado 2 even with the trims fully open. When accelerating the buoyancy level is pleasant to read in the harness and can be easily controlled by the steering lines. The Colorado 2 excels in stability in all axes throughout the weight and speed range. Roll movements of the canopy are very well damped and when roll initiated the canopy stabilizes itself after few swings. Landings with the Colorado 2 are easy. The landing flare is pleasantly definable. While losing speed, soft landings are easy to perform as the canopy creates ample buoyancy when making the final pull.

Colorado

Materials

It benefits from the latest technologies. The rib reinforcement system is made using nitinol wires to optimally support the shape of the profiles and guarantees clean surface of the canopy, even when the glider is folded carelessly. The shape of the leading edge and thus aerodynamic cleanliness are achieved by high-quality processing using plastic rods on LE panels. The canopy combines classic and lightweight Polyamid 6.6, PU fabrics. RipStop 38 g/m² is used on the heavily stressed leading edge. The main part of the canopy is made RipStop 32 g/m² and RipStop, 32 g/m² hard coating on profiles. The risers are well thought out and designed to be pilot-friendly, keeping them simple and easy to use.

Great attention to details

The risers are well thought out and designed to be pilot-friendly, keeping them simple and easy to use. The Colorado 2 comes standardly equipped with ergonomically thin, semi-rigid steering handles, including swivels, each with two neodymium magnets, which makes it easier to attach the steering handles to the D straps during flight. The D risers feature two pulley settings for low or high steering depending on your paramotor. Wing tip steering handles are held in position using elastic lines and can be secured to the risers by either neodymium magnets or with press button snaps. There are small self-cleaning canopy holes on the stabilizers.
