The Muse 5 is a nice improvement over its predecessors. I don't think the Muse 4 ever got the celebrity it deserved, it was one of my favorite wings to fly. Hopefully new and experienced pilots alike will get more chances to fly this wing. They will find it a real joy to fly!

25m Muse 5 (Hybrid) Motor Trimmers

I've been a big fan of the Muse wings ever since the Muse 2. It's the wing I learned to paramotor on. MacPara has consistently delivered genuine improvements with each iteration. The Muse 4 was a wing that new paramotor students wanted to go back to after flying it once. We are all excited to get a few hours on the new Muse 5. I had my first flight on the 25m Muse 5 recently and my first impressions were all positive. Visually, the most noticeable changes I saw were the slim risers and the design of the leading edge. The lines are all sheathed, like the previous versions.

Handling on the ground is fun and easy. The Muse 5 inflates smoothly and easily in both forward and reverse launch positions and with a slight breeze the glider comes overhead with minimal effort. My biggest surprise was the degree to which the Muse 5 resists overflying the pilot on inflation. This seems to be a big improvement over the Muse 4.

In flight, the Muse 5 is fun to fly and efficient. It's a noticeable improvement over the Muse 4, which impresses me because I think the Muse 4 was a remarkably well designed wing. It's tight and responsive for an "A" class glider and quickly recovers from deflations. Though thin, the risers are sturdy and easy to use. The wing handles moderate turbulence nicely and settles back over the pilots head quickly and naturally from strong pitch and roll attitudes. There was no oscillation throughout the power range. In flight speeds are slightly faster but still slower than most paramotor specific wings like the Charger.

The Muse 5 lands with control and authority at a speed that new pilots will find encouraging and forgiving.

The Muse 5 is a nice improvement over its predecessors. I don't think the Muse 4 ever got the celebrity it deserved, it was one of my favorite wings to fly. Hopefully new and experienced pilots alike will get more chances to fly this wing. They will find it a real joy to fly!
