Task 21 - 17th October - 53.7km
Before the second task almost all the sky is covered by big dens cirrus. Around midday it opens up so the task committee sets up 50km race to goal. During the waiting for opening of start gate the cirrus come again and soon after it only some 10 pilots remain in the air. We are slowly moving along the course and when the sun starts to shine again we are only around 15km from the start in a group of 5 pilots (including two MACs :-) Thanks to the advantage of the wing I am able to stay even in the very weak thermals and finally am making the longest distance of the day - breathtaking 35 km.
